Setting up a semi-aquatic tank

Any enclosure that will hold water and is secure enough to contain animals can be used as the basis for a semi-aquatic tank. Many people have taken old aquariums, added a secure lid and turned them into beautiful and functional semi-aquatic tanks.

If you don't already have an old aquarium, however, we recommend the ZooMed Naturalistic Terrariums as a good start for a semi-aquatic project.
